Undergraduate Advising
For undergraduate students majoring in areas within the School of Sciences, advisors are assigned based on your year of study and your major. If you are a fully admitted freshman or sophomore with a major within the School of Sciences, you will be advised through the Sciences Advising Center. The only exceptions to this are:
- Freshman and above Medical Laboratory Science and Cytotechnology majors should see the CLS advisor (as listed in the Biology department advising information).
- Freshman and above Biology Secondary Education Majors should see the Biology Secondary Education Advisor (as listed in the Biology department advising information).
- Freshman and above Mathematics majors who are eligible to enroll in Calculus I (students who have successfully completed a college Pre-calculus and Trigonometry course, have a score of 25 or above on the Math portion of the ACT, or have a score of level 7 on the AUM Math Placement Test). These students should see an advisor in the Department of Mathematics (as listed in the Mathematics department advising information)
You can contact the Sciences Advising Center, 207 Goodwyn Hall, 244-3592 anytime to arrange an advising appointment.
