WHAT'S IN THE SWAMP? TREES?                                                                                         The Spanish moss hung heavy from the trees. Trees with thick dark swollen trunks  that seemed to squat on the edge of the water, thrusting root like fingers up from the dark waters. Waters as dark as the job they had just finished. The gloom of the evening was settling as heavy as the sack on their shoulders as they crept into the SWAMP.
