those that must arrive late.

COURSE ETIQUETTE:
Please be thoughtful and considerate of others.
When the class period begins, be ready to work.
Please limit your talking to very occasional, brief remarks only
about the course subject to someone next to you.
Do not use lecture time as a social occasion to catch up with
what your friends have been doing or to clown around.
This type of behavior is distracting and rude to those who are
serious about the course. Don't
be reluctant to ask questions. Please
be respectful of the questions of your classmates.
Turn off your watch alarms during the class period. Cellular
phones, pagers, and other electronic devices cannot be used
during class without permission of the instructor obtained prior
to a specific class period. Permission
would be granted only on a class-to-class basis for exceptional or
emergency circumstances. Audio recorders can be used if they are
unobtrusive.

at the instructor’s discretion and BEFORE the next class period
following the exam. Make-up
exams will be predominantly essay style.
No make-up Final Exams will be given! Exception:

the course calendar of the web site and/or leave a message on my voice
mail. If you are traveling to AUM from a long distance away, use
your best judgment.
