Auburn Montgomery’s Department of Political Science and Public Administration program provides a broad educational experience for persons interested in preparation for public service as well as advanced study.

The Political Science & Public Administration department has five degree plans and two certificate program that fall under the departments responsibility:

Political Science Degree

Master of International Relations

Master of Political Science

Master of Public Administration

Nonprofit Management & Leadership Certification

Public Health Care Administration Certification

Doctorate in Public Administration & Public Policy (Joint Program)

Take additional coursework and earn your Certificate in Public Health Care Administration and Policy or your Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership while you work towards your master's.

The Auburn Montgomery MPA program was reaccredited by NASPAA for a seven-year period through 2013. NASPAA accreditation recognizes that a master's program in public affairs has gone through a rigorous process of voluntary peer review conducted by the Commission on Peer Review and Accreditation (COPRA), and has met NASPAA's Standards for Professional Master's Degree Programs in Public Affairs, Policy and Administration.
