The purpose of this site is simple enough: to catalog the careers and achievements of the CGS class of 1973. In 1998, I received an email from a former CGS colleague and I found it most interesting to learn what he had been doing in the past three decades. For a couple of years the idea of creating a Class of '73 website rattled around in my mind (plenty of room to move there). Using the Internet, I located the whereabouts of about two dozen people: there were doctors, lawyers, vets, pilots, teachers, psychologists, chemists, biologists, philosophers, law enforcers, economists, to mention a few, and they were scattered all over the world. Well, I thought it was fascinating and that perhaps others would too.

I eventually contacted the school about creating a website for the class. In the past they have not sanctioned "unofficial" school sites but by complying with some of their wishes, which were quite reasonable, the site was eventually created in 2001. Thanks to Geoff Reilley, CGA, who offered assistance. If successful, it is hoped other similar sites for other years may follow.

You will notice that the name of the school does not appear anywhere on the site. This was one of the school's wishes. Furthermore, the school has not released any personal information without permission from former students. Most of the information on each person displayed on this site has been provided by the individual in question. Other information has been taken from public websites, which of course is freely available to anyone. Some anecdotal information has been provided by third parties, but I am reluctant to post anything of a personal nature without first seeking approval from the person in question. From the latter source I have, however, included information on careers, since this is the primary goal of the site as reflected in it's title.

If the achievements of the Class of '73 are anything to go by, the School must surely be proud of the seeds they have sown and scattered across the globe.

If you keep in contact with anyone from school, perhaps you could let them know about the site.

      I wish y'all well,
