Description: To familiarize the student with the process of estate planning and probate, with emphasis on the practical aspects of will drafting, creation of trusts, and probate administration.

Expected Learning Outcomes:
We expect students completing this course to be able to:

• understand the general principles of estate administration.
• understand basic wills and trust.
• prepare a simple will.
• learn to prepare documents used in a law practice.
• understand the ethical and professional responsibilities of the lawyer and legal assistant in probate, wills, estates, and trusts.
