Course: JUST 3730. Real Property Law
Description: A study of the aspects of real property law concerning
present and future estates in realty, concurrent ownership, landlord-tenant
relationships, conveyances, and titles.
Expected Learning Outcomes:
We expect students completing this course to be able to:

understand the general principles of real property law; specifically, to
understand
- principles of
easements.
- principles of
mortgages.
- principles of deeds.
- principles of loan
documents.
- principles of
landlord/tenant law.
- understand procedures for
performing title search, examination of title and title insurance.
- learn to prepare documents
used in a law practice.
- understand the ethical and
professional responsibilities of the lawyer and legal assistant in
property law.
