Publications and Professional Activity
Dr. Elliott retired as Dean of the School of Sciences and Professor of Political Science and Public Administration on January 1, 2003, after serving as Dean since September, 1998.  He also taught the core Human Resources Management course in the Joint Campus Ph.D. Program in Public Administration and Public Policy.  He has authored one book, Public Personnel Administration: A Values Perspective, and has published in several general public administration journals such as the Public Administration Review, Administration and Society, and the State and Local Government Review. He has also published in public sector personnel journals such as the Review of Public Personnel Administration, and Public Personnel Management, and serves on the editorial board of both journals. Dr. Elliott is a past winner of Auburn University at Montgomery's Faculty Service Award.
