Professional Activities:

Dr. Grinter is currently the Professor of Asian Studies, Department of Warfighting at Air War College, Maxwell Air Force Base and is the Editor of The Maxwell Papers at Air War College. He is the co-editor of the books Battlefield of the Future (Air University Press, 1995), Looking Back on the Vietnam War (Praeger, 1993), Security, Poicy and Strategy in the Pacific Rim (Rienner, 1989), The American War in Vietnam (Greenwood, 1987), East Asian Conflict Zones (St. Marins,1987), and Asian-Pacific Security (Reinner, 1986). In addition, he has authored 50 scholarly articles on Asian security issues.

Dr. Grinter is married with two children.
