Professional Activities:

Dr. Kelly is an Associate Professor of Political Science and Criminal Justice at Auburn University and the Internship Coordinator for Political Science, Criminal Justice, and Public Administration. He also teaches parttime at several local colleges.

His work has appeared in such journals as the Journal of Education and Psychology, Public Sector, Alabama Police Journal, and the Journal of the Alabama Academy of Science. He has been the recipient of several teaching and extension awards, the latest being recognition by the American Political Science Association for Distinguished Teaching and Service in Political Science and recognized as an Outstanding Professor by Auburn University Panhellenic Council.

Dr. Kelly is single and spends his free time doing community service work.
