When Alice McKinney sat down
to take the Certified Public Accountancy Examination in
1981, she was to become one of less than 10 percent of
those sitting to pass. Today she attributes that success
to a focused mind and a good education.
As president of the Alabama State Employees
Association, Ms. McKinney travels throughout Alabama on
speaking tours. Such lectures sometimes expand to include
non-state employees when topics such as motivation and
leadership are concerned. |
