Dr. Turk is the founder and lead counsel of a small law firm with a primary focus in employment law, business entities - including formation and dissolution, contract law, and Title VII issues. He also provides management and consultation and training for entry level, mid-career, and senior managers within varied organizations.

Dr. co-authored the book Alabama Nursing Law and is the author of the book Legal Issues in Human Resource Management.
