Dr. Vocino is the author or co-author of over 60 articles, case studies and technical reports. His work has been published in such journals as the Administrative Science Quarterly, Public Administration Review, Administration and Society, and the American Review of Public Administration. Dr. Vocino is the recipient of the 2003 Elmer B. Staats Career Service Award of the National Association of Public Affairs and Administration (NASPAA) and is the 1991 recipient of the Don Stone Service to ASPA Award of the American Society for Public Administration. Dr. Vocino has also served terms on the governing boards of ASPA, NASPAA, the Policy Studies Organization, and the Southern Political Science Association. During 1996-1997 he served as President of the Policy Studies Organization.
