Dr. White has been the Executive Director of the Family Guidance Center of Alabama, with offices in Montgomery, Troy, Dothan, Birmingham, Florence, Jasper, and Huntsville since 1988. He received his doctorate from Auburn University from the Department of Counseling and Counseling Psychology. His doctoral dissertation focused on the impact of work schedules on marital and family life within industrial dual-earner couples. He received his master's degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University. He received his bachelor's degree in Sociology from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His nearly twenty-five year career in the social service field has focused on providing services to strengthen families in our communities.

Dr. White is a native of Brooklyn, New York. He and his wife, Vivian, are residents of Wetumpka, Alabama.
